About Us

The Tukipo Catchment Care Group (TCCG) is a farmer-led collective working together to improve the environmental health and long-term resilience of the Tukipo catchment in Central Hawke’s Bay. Built on collaboration and shared purpose, the group brings landowners together to take practical action at scale.
Work across the catchment has been enabled through a combination of funding from the Ministry for the Environment’s Freshwater Improvement Fund and significant landowner co-investment. This partnership between external funding and farmer commitment has supported coordinated action across multiple properties.

Who We Are
The Tukipo Catchment Care Group is led by a chair, committee and catchment co-ordinator who all live and work within the catchment, bringing a strong understanding of the land and community they represent. Backed by the wider community, the group reflects a collective commitment to improving environmental outcomes and supporting the long-term resilience of the catchment.
